Turn off & disable Autorun Windows feature
By default, autorun is enabled on Windows. Majority of trojans take advantage of autorun feature to infect and spread malicious stuff via USB and other media devices.
You can easily fix this by disabling autorun on Windows PC using free utility AutoRun Vaccine. Just launch the utility and click disable to turn off autorun feature. You can always turn it back ON by clicking enable button.
